Camping near Niday Shelter

“Grave Dancer (Creek Dancer) is busy in training this week and asked me to post this message for her. Responses appreciated:

"I need to get some information on available campsites near the Niday Shelter on the AT. TT'rs familiar with the southernmost section of the AT in Virginia might be familiar with the area. Our plans are to camp near the shelter, but we are not sure if there are suitable areas or not for pitching a tent. The TT'rs familiar with the southern most section of the AT in Virginia might be familiar with this shelter."
