The whole thing started due to Pedro geating pissed because he was pitching like crap!
He is a big baby and resorts to hitting guys when he gets hammered on. Pedro Sucks!

I will say I have more respect for a lot of the other Sox players (varatek, meuller,millar, etc ) they kept their cool...
Great game under it all.

I think the "Cowboy up" is from, a lot of the newer Sox players are all from the Texas area and are "cowboys" and instead of "Batter up" it's "Cowboy up" That's my understanding, I could be wrong though.

“As a long time Yankee fan, I want to say this: I have never rooted for the Boston Red Sox in any of their endeavors in the past, nor will I in the probable near future. But, the 2003 Sox team, led by Grady Little, is one of the most exciting units I have ever had the privilege of watching. They never gave up and came back at several key junctures to keep themselves in the running. They have a hitting line up that is nothing short of phenomenal. They also fielded some plays that were truly made in the 'clutch'. This team has nothing to feel bad about besides the natural feeling of having your heart broken from falling a few steps short of your ultimate goal. They made the Yankees work very hard for the victory and forced them to pulll out all the stops to make it so. The end of game 7 came down to an endurance contest and tested the stamina of the pitching staffs. When a stalemate arises such as last night's, anyone can score a run eventually. It becomes the job of the pitching staff to hang on. It broke in the Yankees favor, but the pendulum could have easily swung the other way. My hat's off to the Boston Red Sox. They should be as proud of themselves as their fans are of them. Now, it's on to the Fall Classic and let's have fish for dinner tomorrow night!”
