Dreaming of Winter Hikes Already

“I was thinking today how nice it would be to backpack this Winter! Nice and cool. No bugs. I even like snow. And I don't mind my peanut butter sammidge frozen.... once in awhile. LOL

I was looking back through old pictures of some of the awesome trips TT has had. I want to do a reprisal of the Deliverance Trip. Next comes Alabama Getaway... I'll get me a "Fergit, Hell!" t-shirt made up with a big Rebel Stars and bars on it to wear.

Then how bout the Pink Snowbunny Hops up Grandfather Mountain trip.... that one would be pretty!

“Winter hiking already?:) yep I was thinking it was just fall still...but my GF (or is it ex now...lol) went on an overnight last Saturday with me to NC.....I do have to say that it was her first backpack...but she was outfitted fine...and still had all sorts of issues:( Oh well.......back to the drawing boards for a winter partner:) I did tell her that 38 deg with 20 mph gusts does not constitute winter:) But she declared to never go hiking in the winter again....so I guess it is winter already....or maybe it is just the chill of our relationship that I am feeling:) Maybe this belongs in the relationships sucks thread;)”
