“Just click on the "My Favorite Threads" page. It may come up with no threads listed. Just refresh that page and it should load all your favorites.”

2. I came back in IE, and was able to "add favorites". Once I added a thread all my old favorites reappeared.

I hate IE and it's using a weird font. Is this to get me to use IE so I can't block all the adverts?

“I've got a weird fluke going on. I just added a name to my ignore list, and suddenly the other names listed as still on ignore are all showing up in threads. Any ideas?”

“There is a limit to the number of ignores you can have.
Maybe that's part of the problem, tree.”

“Matt - I'd enjoy seeing a separate section(icon) for movies and TV programs. You might name it Fuego-2. It's disappointing to select a thread that sounds like a great, backpacking adventure and find someone talking about last night's, non-backpacking, TV Program.”

“Matt - I use a number of different computers and usually sign in and out. Likewise, there are times when I sign in or out on my home computer. But no action appears until I do a "refresh," "reload" or equivalent. It would be nice to see an appropiate response after a sign-in or sign-out. Otherwise, perhaps you could sneak in a reminder to "refresh." Thanks.”

I've been on 4-5 other forums and thebackpacker is the best. It's the most fun, I loved your general hands off approach, and I've met the most people from it. All of them great.

Giving up something you've created and worked with for so long must be one of the hardest things to do in life. I don't think I could do it.

I hope I wasn't too much of a pain in the ass for you (I'm thinking I pale in comparison to some and was barely a blip) and hope to meet you some day.

What happened to Titanium Chef, big trips like FYAO which has probably seen it's last year? Who remembers when twigeater put together a trip to Katahdin and put a dozen TTers on the top of Katahdin? If this site continues to go unmoderated and people can't be respectful, then it's a loser's palace, thebackpacker used to be a GREAT site with lots of info, hikers meeting hikers, and people ACTUALLY going places. It's a damn shame, I've met ALOT of great folks, but I've noticed that I've met relatively few new peeps in the last couple years. Why do you think that is???
