Well Mr. Bison, I have backed up my assertion with facts

LOL. Delusions of grandeur.

Not the same poll Violin (maybe I should have worded it better) the numbers you quote are not from the poll that Princeton did for Pew, they are from the poll that Princeton did for Newsweek.

mutt- Don't be shocked if the usual libs ignore the CBS false 'news'.
Was there a thread from fiddleboy about Bush's service and these false papers before the truth came out?
Might make interesting reading for a good laugh.

don't hold your breath yet, those papers haven't been verified as false. Only their credibility has been questioned.

I don't care if they were true or false. Dubya has yet to answer what the hell he was doing for those two years, why he didn't take his physical, and why he quit flying. All this leads me to believe he bailed on his commitment. That's the darned point, and the only smoking gun out there is Bush's failure to expound upon his service.

I do feel that the way the administration has chosen to answer the questions about Bush's guard service only makes it more questionable and I feel that he should for once and for all come clean about the whole thing. It's the only way the controversey will go away.

At this point, for anyone who's followed the story closely, it's hard to come to any conclusion but that they were forged.

From Dan Rather:

"Now, after extensive additional interviews, I no longer have the confidence in these documents that would allow us to continue vouching for them journalistically."
Bison

The funny thing is that CBS totally blew off interviewing Bush’s guard room mate because he was “too pro Bush” but then they turn around accept questionable docs from one of Kerry’s biggest financial supporters.

Duh, OK george…

What a goatphuck. The more they spin the more guilty they look.

G-Dubs got my vote and I watch Fox News much more than the others and I will continue to do so. The other news sources are so liberally slanted towards a doom and gloom, pessimistic, anti-U.S. angle situation system thing. Fox News alone regularly beats all the other cable news networks COMBINED. I wonder why? I know. They report, you decide. I guess most people decide they like what they report, even if you don't.

Comedy Central also touted a recent study by the University of Pennsylvania's National Annenberg Election Survey, which said young viewers of "The Daily Show" were more likely to answer questions about politics correctly than those who don't.

Comedy Central had no statistics on how many people watch "The Daily Show" stoned.

Comedy Central
was a blast last night. Basically a spoof on "fire the commander in chief" kinda like accountability, the buck stops here, - only they were directing all of those comments at Dan Rather.
Also a spot for Bob Woodward paperpack 'plan of attack' and the 9-11 commission giving the book it's due recommendation

The Daily Show bills itself as "fake news" - too bad FOX can't follow truth in advertising laws as well.

Stewart started off last night by saying how great it was for folks to have something to stare at after a day of stoned slacking.

Bunning unaware of Iraq story

U.S. Sen. Jim Bunning said yesterday that he was unaware of reports that a unit of Army Reserve soldiers in Iraq had refused an order to deliver fuel for reasons including that their trucks were lightly armored.

"I don't know anything about that," Bunning said during a news conference after a speech he gave to the Rotary Club of Louisville.
<snip>
When reporters told him that the unit's refusal was a national news story and involved a soldier from Louisville, Bunning said, "Let me explain something: I don't watch the national news, and I don't read the paper. I haven't done that for the last six weeks. I watch Fox News to get my information."
