"Happy" Columbus Day

“Man, where to start?


Is Columbus the rapper of America? Don't know. He does get a lot credit for something he DIDN'T do. He gets lucky, IMHO, when he lands here. As the saying goes: Even a blind pig finds an acorn sometime.

American history books are filled with vanilla, PC stuff. Every year, new books have to be bought for schools because of the revisionist look on history. This is one problem. Give people the truth and let them make the decision. I don't know if you will ever have that. "Others" like the control too much and wouldn't want to give it up.

I do have some Indian blood in me vains, not much to make a solid claim of heritage. I mainly come from Nordic regions. Here one thing to chew on. Why was it that the French and Nords were able to live AMOUNG the tribes, respect them and there areas and the English did not? The Brits at the time were looking to expand the Empire at all costs. The "New World" offered all the resources to make that happen.

Anoder thing. What would have happened if the Pilgrams were slaughtered at Plymouth Rock? Nobody woulda been the wiser.

One more. Comparing this to todays, or recent events is wrong. You have to remember this. It not the same. There are more people on the Earth today, more people to kill that is, to attain yer goal.

If the Indians were not so helpful, you and I would not be here. Imagine if you will, if the settlers didn't come over. What would Europe look like? For that matter, would the USA be a country of Indians? The term Indians is not even correct, as they were called that because some thought they looked like people from India (but that's another arguement, k?)

When white people came over here, they bought all kinds of stuff, animals, bugs, diesses (sp?) just by arriving here. By they're sear exsistance in the area, the ball started rolling.”
