Hey StovestomperView Messages“http://www.kayaker.com/new/products/boat.asp?type=discontinued&ID=7 He screwed up the link somehow.” 1:40:58 PM 5/10/05 “I have not heard from rad or om in a while. That's who I went with. Permits would be a problem right now. Busy season. Maybe June we could get up a trip?” 1:43:11 PM 5/10/05 “I'd like to go if somebody else will do all the figuring out times etc etc...I"M LAZY!” 1:48:23 PM 5/10/05 “Have to see how well trekkngirl takes to lizs' canoe trip and see if she might be interested.” 1:50:51 PM 5/10/05 “to me she'd be better off going out in a kayak first....much more fun than canoe...go pick her up.” 1:51:43 PM 5/10/05 “So there Stovie..I'm sure I'm gonna have a blast..I love the water..in it or on it..woohoo” 1:54:08 PM 5/10/05 “Well, lookie there! LOL” 2:09:41 PM 5/10/05 Northwoods proverb: “If a couple can canoe together without killing eachother (or being nasty) they will be together forever.” 2:12:24 PM 5/10/05 “so its setteld Trekkngirl is going!! She doesn't need no stinkin trial to know if she likes it Mikey!” 2:13:34 PM 5/10/05 “No being nasty? Sass.. :(” 2:15:06 PM 5/10/05 “Last night Reece asked where honey comes from. We said bees. He then asked how. Can he email you from my wifes account and ask about bees and then maybe you could forward a few pics of your hive. I thought it would be interesting for him to see the bees that produced the honey he's eaten for breakfast. If so, thanks.” 9:25:15 AM 8/24/05 “It's bee puke.” 9:25:43 AM 8/24/05 “I know that, but I thought I could turn this into a little deeper education thing.” 9:27:56 AM 8/24/05 “Sure! Bee happy to help out my lil' buddy. Pics will have to wait a bit. My hives are kept up at my Dad's place. Too many sueing nutcases in town for me to keep them in my backyard. Someone a mile away from me might get stung and decide the bee came from my hive.” 9:32:45 AM 8/24/05 “I found a couple good sites. Interesting stuff. I even found a brand of honey called Bummble Barf Honey. I didn't know you were a bug man Stovie. I just thought you bugged others. LOL! http://www.honey.com/kids/ http://www.coolquiz.com/trivia/explain/docs/honey.asp” 9:37:36 AM 8/24/05 “Thanks a bunch. This can be a "food doesn't just show up at the store/restaurant" sort of thing as well as a bit of science. For his first homework assignment he had to take pictures to kindergarten of things starting with "G". We made him type out the letters in a google search and then printed it all out.” 9:37:42 AM 8/24/05 “Nigal, yes, I am a beekeeper.” 9:41:06 AM 8/24/05 “That was the one thing that as a child I always wanted to do when I grew up, but I never did :(” 12:08:51 PM 8/24/05 “we saw LOTS of beehives in pastures up in Montana along the highways.” 12:11:50 PM 8/24/05 “Don't open the "tampon" thread...seriously.” 10:51:52 AM 10/27/05 “...stay away from the frampton thread too...” 12:26:37 PM 10/27/05 “but feel free to glance at the crampon thread.” 12:58:30 PM 10/27/05 “I dunno they're talking about ass axes on that one.” 12:59:39 PM 10/27/05 “wtf?” 1:22:59 PM 10/27/05 “Thanks, bit!” 9:15:50 AM 10/28/05 “yw!” 9:19:05 AM 10/28/05 “SS, what happened to all the bee hives you had. I am assuming they where destroyed by Katrina. That was some good honey. last edited: 10/28/05 9:24:58 AM” 9:23:21 AM 10/28/05 “My hives are upland at my parents place. Most came thru OK with just the top covers blown off. I'm down to just a couple hives. The mites hit them hard this late summer. I'll start up a couple of new hives next Spring during Swarming. Honey production was down a bit this year. The forrest lands around my parents place had the pines harvested and most of the gallberry plants were uprooted by the machinery. Gallberry makes a very good light, very tasty honey.” 9:32:08 AM 10/28/05 “You having any problems with Africanized bees, we had to destroy our hives after they were invaded.” 9:34:47 AM 10/28/05 “They have not come this far East yet, ChuckD. Kinda funny Ewker brought this subject up. Just last night I was washing some jars of honey that had been under flood water in my house from the hurricane. The lids and rings are a bit rusted but still sealed. No way am I throwing good honey away!” 9:39:45 AM 10/28/05 “How does this happen. last edited: 10/28/05 9:46:05 AM” 9:43:21 AM 10/28/05 “How does what happen?” 10:28:37 AM 10/28/05 “Tampons, hehehehe.” 10:35:38 AM 10/28/05 “ive used jars of jelly and veggies that were underwater for a day or two in basement floods with rusted rings and lids. the contents were juuuust fiiinnnneeee.” 10:36:40 AM 10/28/05
