“Ok i admit it, I like hiking in the fall to see the changing leaves in the woods....hmmm...maybe thats why im going east? (not really, its the nookie) Anywho, who else is willing to admit they do the whole turist thing this time of year? (ps...dont tell mike, he HATES turists)” 7:53:25 AM 10/17/03 “I'm taking off for Brown County Indiana Wendsday for a five day get away! The leaves should be peaking then. Can't wait!” 9:07:30 AM 10/17/03 “TMI” 9:08:16 AM 10/17/03 “yes you called?” 9:13:42 AM 10/17/03 “Wouldn't Treebeard be considered a "leafer"? Will he be doin' the leaf thing this weekend? LOL!” 9:19:51 AM 10/17/03 “Followers of the Foliage!” 9:20:31 AM 10/17/03 “ ”9:23:00 AM 10/17/03 “Dang Leaf-Peepers!” 9:24:49 AM 10/17/03 “ ”9:27:19 AM 10/17/03 “you all are just jealous cause leaves get blown more! thank you and have a good night.” 9:28:21 AM 10/17/03 “Yep, I kinda figured Treebeard for a LEAF-Peeper.” 9:36:58 AM 10/17/03 “Dang leaf peepers. I've noticed a huge increase in out of state plates on cars around here the last couple of weeks. I will admit that it was beautiful. Now that peak has past and most of the leaves will soon be gone from the trees, I want the peepers to go away.” 9:43:10 AM 10/17/03 “I spent a weekend in S. Utah leave peeping and next weekend I'm going to spend leaf peeping/day hiking in Zion. The cottonwoods should be at their peak!! Nothing like bright yellows/oranges against red sandstone and blue skies.” 12:08:11 PM 10/17/03 “The squeeze and I did Saint Regis Mt on Monday (Canuck Thanksgiving). It is a tiny mountain with lovely views in the northern Dacks of NY. The approach under the leaves in bright sunlight was marvelous, as was the walk though the gian hemlock grove. The summit, while a mite crowded was fabulous. Just wanted to share.” 12:25:59 PM 10/17/03 “I need to watch Family Guy now! 8)” 12:44:48 AM 10/18/03 “During fall in Southern California I go hiking in the San Bernardino Mtns, then head for the town of Oak Glen to pig out on apple pie and apple strudel, then wash it down with a big glass of apple juice (its an apple growing community in the SE corner of the mtn range). The leaves also turn color here in a few areas.” 9:46:37 PM 10/19/03
