“We wore Grand Canyon Phantom Ranch shirts. "Phantom Ranch" is above a picture of Phantom Ranch, and "Everywhere is walking distance if you have the time (Stephen Wright)" below.
During the ceremony we had the traditional ring exchange, plus another part where we each clipped a carabiner into a ceremonial webbing to make a quickdraw, symbolizing our promise to protect and take care of each other.
I've always thought a quickdraw was symbolic of a good relationship.”

“The cake topper was made out of almond paste, and colored with icing and food color. It was made in haste (but skillfully) an hour before the wedding, since the real cake topper, although cute, didn't arrive until Monday after the wedding.”
