“Back in June I made an "unseccessful" summit attempt of Mount Conness in Yosemite. I returned in September and made it to the top and finally got the pictures back.

“Congrats, H-Mike! Which route did you take to the summit? Don't know if you saw my thread on a similar trip - seems like you were there a week before me (your first trip). But your photos show much less snow than mine. And Alpine Lake was almost frozen over when I was there. Was it June '03 you were there? Maybe it snowed that week....”

I must have missed your original post. You sure had more snow than we did. Yes, it was June 28, 2003. It looks as if we took the same basic route to the summit.
