....that's right...whilst reading the thread about "Politicizing a personal tragedy" I started pondering about an incident that was quite tragic in itself and defined the moment. In fact, the situation was rather bleak and dismal. Things would never be the same. I mean to tell ya...it changed the entire world. The tragedy in question is when Inspector Detective made a big hoodoo in front of the entire town and shamed Pops Racer when he interrogated and humiliated him in public about the disappearance of his son...who is now known as Racer X. Well, I mean to tell ya man...that just wasn't right. The gall of the Inspector to make a spectacle of himself during the re-election campaign. He accused Pops Racer of child abuse...because afterall Racer X did lose the big race to Snake Oiler (if I remember correctly). BTW...Snake was a cool cat...a member of the Car Acrobatic Team. Anyhow, Pops was in shock and awe and had to undergo many hours of therapy. Not only that....younger brother Speed was so upset that Trixie had to shield him from the media. This just wasn't right I tell ya....the Inspector was wrong to showboat at the expense of Pops Racer in an attempt to prove that he was a man for the people and his concerns were for the welfare of all....now that's politicizing the tragedy of others.....

Now these are matters which are of great concern and in need of pondering and debate.....now I must admit....the Inspector did play a key role in uncovering the mystery of the Mammoth Car...in case you were wondering....Crusher Block stole like a Ka-zillion bullions of gold and then had them made into the Mammoth Car. Now that was a story and a half.....perhaps debated at some other time....

Well...that's my pondering moment of the day....

I think the worst part is that because of all the worries on Pops that poor little Spritle was totally neglected. Although it wasn't even reported Chim Chim had a recurrence of his poop throwing days

ROFLMAO!!!
too freakin funny...

If I remember correctly, after much therapy, Speed did have the courage to get back behind the wheel of the Mach 5, where he proceeded to go up against Snake Oiler (who was a dasterdly rat) and wrecked the Mach 5 just as the race was going to conclusion. Speed did survive the accident, but required much more therapy and Pops had to rebuild the Mach 5. Trixie eventually left the Racer family and hooked up with Snake Oiler, and they had one child. A son. He grew up and moved to Indianna and is now fondly known as Crazy Mike.

Spritle, well...he grew up with that chimp and eventually was arrested for buggery and was sentenced to life in prison for animal misuse.
