I'll wear a body cast and be Gov. Corzine.

I may just be "a guy in a bar" this year,   LOL

Last year I did the whole Dead Santa routine (hey, it's a Classic).  A guy I know said he's going to dress as an Arab and wear a Three Stooges mask, ergo:   "Moe-hammed"       (yikes)

Last year my wife's church had a party for Halloween. It just so happens that the pastor's b'day is Oct 31, so they call it a birthday party instead. The theme for the party was the 70's. Everyone was suppose to dress like they did back then, well I thought "Kiss came out in the 70's" So I dressed up like Gene Simmons and my wife dressed up like Paul Stanley. We really shocked a lot of people. I can still remember the looks on their faces when we entered the building, it was like everything just came to a stop when we went in. I LOVED IT! I don't think they like us anymore.

Yeah, my wife wanted me to go with her, but I didn't want to. Finally I told her (as a joke) I would go if we dressed up like Kiss. That plan backfired on me, I didn't think she would do it.

Sass, but I'm going as CB. I hope we don't run into each other, that would be embarrassing.

mildbill - that's awesome. My church is having a Halloween festival and [gasp] we're calling it a Halloween festival.

I'm going as an arsehole. It saves the trouble of dressing up.

Actually I am dressed like a cow right now complete with udders. A little while ago I went over to the main building to see my boss. I walked in and he had his back to me. I told him it was time for him to milk me for all I was worth. He only got half turned around when he saw me and fell on his desk laughing hysterically.

Laurel literally brought home 5 pounds of candy. There's 44 lollipops alone. Dibs on the almond joy. ;)

The thing that got her most excited? One household gave her 4 gummy crabby patty candies. Boy, was she psyched for that. She didn't really want any candy tonight, other than the pixie stick, but she'd just brushed her teeth.

My costume could've gone 2 ways. It was a very shiny black blouse, black corduroys with glittery belt, pretty intense makeup (for me at least) and I opted to wear my big wool flannel cloak with satin lining and go for the wizard/ witch look. I stuck a glowstick in the top of the staff I used and apparently the whole neighborhood could see it. :) My other option was to skip the cloak and staff and put on my crushed velvet blood red jacket and look like I'm going clubbing. They both looked quite good, honestly. Especially with the NARS lipgloss in "diablo."

Yours truly trick-or-treating with the kids. The mask was misery with my cold I am suffering through but the kids loved it.

I didn't take any pictures. :(

While trick or treating last night we encountered a couple who had dressed up. The guy was wearing all black with a long black coat. He had long hair, had an outback-styled hat on, and was carrying a cross-bow. As we walked up to him I said, "Ted Nugent?" He burst out laughing and said, "No, Van Heisling. You didn't see the movie, did you?" Then while we waited together at the end of the sidewalk for our respective kiddies to get their candy, he kept chuckling over and over again.
