You lookin' fer pain, girl???
Let's just set the record straight here Scorched-hiney!

Bobo is Bigfoot?

somewhere between 7' and 9 ' tall
I'm 6 feet long,.. er, tall
stinks real bad
I always smell reeaalll gooood! (Hai Karate!)
extremely hairy
definately not, can't even grow sideburns!
pretty shy
hahahahaahhahahahah!
and screams real loud
hmmm, depends who I'm with.

Alright, not that we've straightened that out, do you want to leave Friday night or Early Saturday? I would suggest a weekender on the Loyalsock trail instead of OLP (It's closer and more hike options depending on who signs up).....
Unless you're little boy-toy Bloody Tea is coming, then I wopuld suggest a trip to the AT, North Joisey or Southern NY sections.

Bobobobo
You know I got nuttin but luuuuuv for ya!!

Don't care where we go! I'm always up for anything. We can leave Friday night or Saturday morning, doesn't matter to me. I'm not hard to get plans going at all cause I'm always open to doing whatever. If Tea's willing to come, I'd like to hike with him so I can torture him the whole time.

Tea, you out there??? You willing to challenge the ol' Scorchypants to a hike on the AT????

How about you sign up for the "Big Z" trip at the end of November. A lot of people will be there!

I can't... I want to sooo bad but I already have promises that I can't break to house/dog sit for a family friend who is going away. They pay pretty well so I can get more gear and join a later trip!

It's just my $.02 but I'm thinking the OLP might be a lot for a first time backpack. If you've never carried a full pack, the 27 miles in 2 days might be uncomfortable.

I'd recommend something like the 18 mile Loyalsock - Link Trail loop we started to do in January that got shortened by a blizzard.

This starts right at the World's End State Park Office and it's in Jmitch's book. A real bonus is that Bobo's double secret campsite might suit this loop perfectly.

well, well, well...

If it's not THE BRUCE!

Yup, those were my sentiments exactly. I would like to keep this a low mileage weekender, so you-know-who can get used to having all that you-know-what in her you-know-where (I'm sounding like Artex!!!). I think it will depend on who's a comin' and who's a goin!

The Almighty has spoken! All pay head and listen. Seriously though, I think the OLP might be a little much for 2 days if your not used to the weight either. I think Pennsy is right, but it all depends on your condition or if you can sucker someone else into carrying some of your stuff.

Well Folks I've been checking out this thread, and... I dunno... 'De-virginizing' sounds so... stilted or something. How about something more akin to ---
