Peppers- Fortune Faded

“On the soon to be released "greatest hits" album of the redhot chili peppers there are two never before recorded songs. "Fortune faded" and some other crap.

As an peppers fan, I think it is a poor move to put new stuff on a greatest hits album. and, does this mean that the peppers and finnished?

The song fortune faded is pritty good, i think I will like it more as 92.3 Krock (home of howard stern) plays more of it, i like it more.

I downloaded a copy of it off of kaza today. Since the CD isn;t out yet quality is poor. it sounds like it was recoreded in a subway. kinda funny”

“It's typical to have a few new songs on a greatest hits album. In fact, it's a smart business move. Why would a fan who as all of their albums want to pay good money for a CD that has nothing new on it?

On a side note: I've been a fan of theirs since high school (late 80's) I really, really liked Californication, I think it's their best album. That's followed by Uplift Party Mofo Plan and Mother's Milk. I thought By The Way was kinda disapointing, didn't have as much of an edge.”

Nah, the peppers are far from finished. They actually already had a greatest hits album back in the day titled "What Hits?" I own it, pretty good.

On a side note, Chili Peppers kick A$$ in concert.”
