“An ode to Buddha's hat

Like a crown atop his head
Sits this nest of Maui red
All summer it sits at home
Awaiting winter, till it might roam

Neatly woven in the mountains of Tibet
From the root of hemp is my bet
So fine and regal is the hat
There are no seeds, I promise that

Fastened by resin, it keeps its style
Keeping its shape for many a mile
Time and distance haven't taken their toll
Always escaping the addicts bowl

So sing its praise in a song
For one day, it'll be the bong
Guard it well my friend
For up in smoke will be its end”
