Can I interest you into looking at the script I've been working on. It's a remake of "Deliverance" and the cast is made up of TrailTalkers! It's time for the 21st century remake of Deliverance, what do you think ?” 8:32:56 AM 11/11/03 “OMG can I be the casting director, I know just the right person to play ned beatty.........BP” 8:38:00 AM 11/11/03 “Not me! HELLLLLLLL NOOOOOO!” 8:38:56 AM 11/11/03 Dueling Banjos! “Well, if y'all are interested... I was casting Tarabull in the lead role as Lewis (Burt Reynolds), of course we'd change the name to Louise, and I was considering bitpusher to play Ed (John Voight's part) and I haven't decided on Drew (Ronnie Cox's part), but I was thinking of Buddur - don't forget, Drew was the best of them all. Of course, Geobeet would play the Old Man at the gas station (Ed Ramey) and Violin would of course play the banjo player (Hoyt Pallard). I was homing in on Ohio Hiker to play Bobby (Ned Beatty) but I don't think he deserves the honor, and Alaska and Mutt were to play the two mountain men. I was saving the role of the Sherrif for bacpac, I think that would suit him. Of course, I'm totally ope to suggestions!” 8:48:56 AM 11/11/03 “I was reading one of the reports on this guys page. It mentions meeting a group of hikers on the trail who saved him a campsite at a "birch" camp. One of them was a guy goes by wounded knee?? Could this be a trail talk sighting?” 8:53:50 AM 11/11/03 “Capn Bobo - sounds interesting. I've got 3 other projects I'm working on. But, you might want to post it on Kevin Spacey's site www.triggerstreet.com and see if it gets some action. :D” 10:11:07 AM 11/11/03 dm “I have a movie for ya. I'm 1/4 through with the book, which could easily be turned into a script. email me: jayd14@mail.com” 10:14:29 AM 11/11/03 “dm, i thought you were still on the trail?” 10:18:07 AM 11/11/03 “ah,,,the wannabe script writers all move in for the kill..... hell, dm, I don't have a script, but if you are ever in Memphis, I will treat for the Blues, BBQ, and beer.......” 10:19:36 AM 11/11/03 “mapleleaf: I never hit the trail on this one. Michael Daniel (LionKing to some of you) was the lone hiker on this one. I was back home getting massages and grapes from my wife.” 1:12:54 PM 11/11/03 “Lucky bastard.” 1:52:32 PM 11/11/03 “oh ok. sorry about that. how is he doing?” 1:53:30 PM 11/11/03 “mapleleaf: Mike's doing cool. He's in dallas now and heading up to utah to start editing in a couple of days.” 4:10:02 PM 11/11/03 Dallas Morning News..... “** Walkabout ** Filmmaker Michael Daniel was in Dallas last week bringing executive producer David Burrows up to date on his work-in-progress Walking with Freedom. The Utah-based adventurer hiked the 2,173-mile Appalachian Trail, shooting 30 hours of videotape along the way. "Every day," Michael says, "wrote its own story." Hiking from Georgia to Maine in brutal heat, record rain and freezing cold, he saw black bear and rattlesnakes, averaged 12 to 18 miles a day and hit the wall more than once. If you'd like to donate original songs or music to the documentary, contact David: Barking Harley Productions, P.O. Box 190748, Dallas, TX 75219.” 5:48:47 PM 11/14/03
