Can I interest you into looking at the script I've been working on. It's a remake of "Deliverance" and the cast is made up of TrailTalkers! It's time for the 21st century remake of Deliverance, what do you think ?”

I was casting Tarabull in the lead role as Lewis (Burt Reynolds), of course we'd change the name to Louise, and I was considering bitpusher to play Ed (John Voight's part) and I haven't decided on Drew (Ronnie Cox's part), but I was thinking of Buddur - don't forget, Drew was the best of them all. Of course, Geobeet would play the Old Man at the gas station (Ed Ramey) and Violin would of course play the banjo player (Hoyt Pallard). I was homing in on Ohio Hiker to play Bobby (Ned Beatty) but I don't think he deserves the honor, and Alaska and Mutt were to play the two mountain men. I was saving the role of the Sherrif for bacpac, I think that would suit him.

“I was reading one of the reports on this guys page. It mentions meeting a group of hikers on the trail who saved him a campsite at a "birch" camp. One of them was a guy goes by wounded knee?? Could this be a trail talk sighting?”

Filmmaker Michael Daniel was in Dallas last week bringing executive producer David Burrows up to date on his work-in-progress Walking with Freedom.
The Utah-based adventurer hiked the 2,173-mile Appalachian Trail, shooting 30 hours of videotape along the way. "Every day," Michael says, "wrote its own story."

Hiking from Georgia to Maine in brutal heat, record rain and freezing cold, he saw black bear and rattlesnakes, averaged 12 to 18 miles a day and hit the wall more than once.
