Anyway, would it be possible for those who hike in early Friday to mark the trail at the campsite for those of us hiking in at night.

“I just checked the temps and they're adjusting to high 20's. abc3340.com has the most accurate Birmingham weather. We'll be a little over an hour east of B'ham so take that with a grain of salt. They showed moring rain on Friday. weather.com showed 40% chance of rain on Friday and accuweather.com didn't show rain at all.”

“Someone told me that there is a chance of snow for the huntsville area this weekend. I haven't seen that in the forecast, but if there is precipation along with the freezing temps.. it could be possible.”

“Everybody has either had a sickness or catastrophe befall them. One guy signed up on this site and I don't know how to get in touch with him. This trip is possibly going to be radically changed. I'll post when I know more. Currently, I would be soloing the first night. Cocoa would be arriving Sat and would miss all the creek hiking, which is his favorite. We may actually wind up going over to Sipsey to recon for the trip in March. I'll post when I know more.”
