How did you find TT?

“How did I find this site...

Well...after a renewed interest in backpacking I did a search and found backpacker.com...I quickly learned that my 65lbs Boy Scouts of America pack was the wrong way to backpack...after about a month I got curious about "the other site" I kept hearing about so I came over here and lurked...I hated the format so I didn't do it much. Then one day you guys invaded bp.com and I felt it was my duty to come over here and troll and I did...and I got banned. While trolling I found the forum funny and you guys seemed to actually backpack and do it a lot...so I posted under a couple different names (after gettying my email address unbanned)...then introduced myself as WVABackpacker then changed it to Dub.

Then it got worse when I acutally hiked with you people! Haha, j/k...TT people are awesome! I love this place.”

“We had webtv before a 'puter and Birch wouldn't let me watch TV (we only have 1) so I had to read the question of the month, how to deal with your period while backpacking. Then we read a lively thread about taking dogs packing, jumped into the fray and never left.”

“A guy I use to hike with (Pantscandy) told me about this site. A crazy thing about him was that when it was just the two of us hiking, he wouldn't quit talking AND he always loved singing tv commercial tunes.

I lurked for quite awhile then recognized a couple of others that I'd met snowcamping (mtnsteve and hikerchic5) - so as I still lurk, I chime in here and there.”
