Alternatives to WebShots

“I'm looking for something other than WebShots to post photos to.

Preferably free, but I am willing to pay a small fee for a site that works.”

“Make sure you pick a site that isn't going to go out of business. Webshots seems pretty stable.

Photobucket.com is free (donation basis) and it also allows you to post a photo directly into forums, something Webshots doesn't allow (you must link to the photo in Webshots, it won't show up here). You can also have a free online photo album at Photo.net, but if you want to have direct linking capabilities to forums there is a fee. Photo.net is more "technical" in that you must provide info on each shot, like type of camera, film, lens, color of socks you were wearing at the time, etc. You will also have your photos "reviewed" by others, who will comment on them, with things like YOU SUCK AND SO DO YOUR PHOTOS, etc. But I like it. But if you're just looking for quick, easy, and free (no, I'm not talking about my sister), try Photobucket.com. I have spoken.”

Right now I do want to post my photos on TT.

Today I posted a photo to my album three hours ago. The change still has not been made and it's running slower than molasses in January at the North Pole on a cold night.”

Next day they arrive by Fed Ex. In my email is a business as usual letter from them saying

"We just wanted you to know that the items you ordered on July 20, 2006
11:39 am have shipped!"


On August 9th She ordered photos from Snapfish. We got them today.”
