The mail man came !! The mail man came !!

And the DVD arrived in one piece. Although it looks like Canada Customs had a look at it before I did. They probably thought it was from your porn collection Navi LOL

I just finished watching the show. What a treasure !! You obviously put a lot of work into it Navi, and did a beautiful job of capturing the whole trip.

It was great to see everybody's smiling faces and those warm sunny places. An hour well spent on a dark, rainy day. Thanks so much, Navi

Got mine, too. What fun. I especially liked watching the ground as you hiked. I'm always looking at the ground. My DVD drive seemed to stick in places, so I missed part of it, but will go back and talk sweet to it and watch again.

Thanks to a creative soul!

wannabp - Did you notice you could hear someone breathing hard during the part where he showed the ground as he hiked?

I also liked the clips where some walkie-talkie messages recorded in the background. Nice effect!

Thanks all....Gald you liked it.

I thought the "View of the trial" was a fun touch. I too liked the effect of the walkie-talkies.

The breathing? I had to edit out a whole section of Trail Angel video because it sounded like a dirty old mad was panting over her! And I only fit one of those!! 8^D

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for taking me back to the Sierras!!! (And thank goodness for once in my life, I didn't actually say what I was thinking when the camera was rolling!!! LOL) Navi, you put together an awesome show! Some of my favorite parts:

The "headlamp" campfire - Rockman is Chuckee Cheese??? Still toooo funny!!! (and then there is Geologyguy Cactus man)

Walking up the trail - How many miles have we all put one foot in front of the other? Thank you for putting words to what we all feel!

The sounds of the walkie talkies brings me back to the vision of Phil getting to the top of Lamark Col and whipping out his walkie talkie and singing "Happy Birthday to PHIL"!

I love the way you "stop to smell the roses"! Not much misses your observation... All that I saw, but didn't take the time to document. Thank you for you!

As for the panting... maybe you should ask before you delete it... at my age.... well.. uh... never mind.....

I only deleted it for Trail Angel.
You, my dear, I'm still panting for.

Landscaper hooked up our DVD player and we treated the Thanksgiving guests to Sierrapalooza 2004. Some of the more interesting questions and comments:
Do you carry water? The most heavy things I would carry would be my mattress and pillow. Do you have a guide? How do you know where to go?
Landscaper wondered if anyone else/everyone else also showed the same home movie to family and friends. Thanks again, Navi.

After I first made that trip (15 years ago), I made a scrapbook.
People would look at the photos and ask, "Weren't you afraid of getting lost?"
I'd answer, "Here's a picture of the trail. Just don't go off the trail." To myself there was a big "Duh".

Glad you enjoyed.
