Storms

“Hope you all are okay in the midwest and east coast - just heard on the news there are some pretty serious storms going on out there. Is it as bad as reported?”

“I’m in northeast PA and my power went out Thursday afternoon and the power company says it may be back on sometime Saturday afternoon. This also means no water. What a mess with all the trees and branches much more damage then Isabel did.”

“Some of the footage I saw on the Weather Channel yesterday... folks wearing raincoats looked like human kites!”

“It rained for 5 minutes this morning in the Bay Area!”

“Pretty bad winds here in southeast MI the last two days. Still plenty of people without power in these parts.”

“The winds here in NJ are still blowing pretty strong - up to about 40 mph. Yesterday we had gusts up to around 70 mph. There are trees and branches down all over. I don't know where all the leaves blew to but they're gone from my yard. Someone must have a heck of a pile to deal with.
