Let us say this woman comes to the US to study. Just to make it interesting she goes to a prestigious Ivy League school. While there and earning excellent grades, she meets the love of her life. They have a blissful relationship for the two years she is "stateside" and plan on growing old together, sharing a house and home.
A) They get married, she gets to stay and they both live happily ever after.
B) They are unable to get married because they are both the same gender. She must return to Europe because Visa has expired.
