Men who find they have "unnatural" desires often try to suppress these feelings. Many hope if they lead a righteous life the desires will stop. Thus they enter the priesthood in hopes they will be "cured" of these desires.

Then there are those so upset by these feelings that they become staunch opponents of anything related to it. Almost rabid in there fervor. This attempt to convince themselves that they are "normal" rarely works.
