A Funny Stroke?

This lady had a stroke and now has a British accent. Very interesting! Of course, the first thing I thought was, "Wouldn't it be ironic if Buddha Bear had a stroke and ended up speaking French?".

BTW- the woman is getting along fine and I know strokes are nothing to make fun of. I just found it very interesting.

Reminds me of Woody Allen's 'Take the Money and Run', where he gets a rehab treatment while in jail, which works but the side effects turn him into a rabbi!

I saw this woman on TV yesterday for a little while. Her accent isn't pervasive, she drops it from time to time. They played a tape of what her voice was like before the stroke, and it was markedly different.

My mother had a neurological episode and she was very disoriented and spoke in a very high child’s voice. Freaky man!
