Memphis, Mt Moriah location....
Our journey began when a collegue inquired as to my availability for a trip to Hooters. After brief consideration of the fact that cottonsocks is not here today and further considering that I will be at a family function tomorrow and hiking the next three days, I quickly determined a trip to Hooters would be in order. I began this trip by planning which location we wanted to visit. With three Hooters in the Memphis area, the decision was tough, but in the interest of travel time, we chose the location at Mount Moriah. It seemed to be appropriately named and with less travel, there would be more time to enjoy the scenery while on location.

We arrived at noon to be greeted by an actractive brunette at the door. She immediately introduced us to our blonde host who seated us where we would have the maximum range of view of the establishment. After briefly perusing the menu, which is strictly committed to memory, I was ready to order. As our Hooters girl approached, my collegue decided to take initiative and ordered a buffalo chicken sandwhich, fries and Ice Tea, sweetened. He boldly advised here he was ready for the Three Mile Island version (pretty damn hot).

Well, not to be outdone, I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwhich, 911 version (hottest one they have), fries and unsweet tea. She promptly smiled and said "good choice, if you want it hot, go for the max".

I promptly told her that anyone with a chili pepper tattoo wasn't overly afraid of a little heat. Although I was tempted, I refrained from showing her the tattoo.

Soon, our meal arrived and was consumed as my collegue carefully rated the Hooters girls on a scale of 1 to 10. While there were none under a 6 (and we are somewhat strict on our scale), none approached a 10 either.

Final score for this Hooters, a solid 7.

While a good time was had on this trip, I remain dedicated to finding the perfect Hooters.

So far, the closest one is in Huntsville, a very robust 9.5
