Man, you would have to drudge up the bad memories about that boxed wine. That stuff is made by Lucifer himself.

I'm only going to say the following so everyone's prepared: mosquitos are still out in full force at least here in southern Maine. Not sure if that's the case up at Baxter. Twiggie, are they bad at the woods near you?

On a somewhat random side-note: during the past two days I've seen a seal and a red-tailed hawk. Gotta love Maine!

I think it has something to do with the unemployment. I think they give it to you.

haha I thought it was a great name for a band!

LOL - welcome to Maine! Too bad you aren't continuing on with us Artex, and maybe get to see/hear a loon.

I think there was a new bug hatching after the rains last weekend. I've had to close my non-screened windows lately or be attacked.

The band is multiracial and named after the former U.K. Social Security form for claiming unemployment benefit

I heart Neil Diamond and darn proud of it!

That's better than the music playing over the intercom here at the school. It's soft rock from the 70's and 80's. It definitely isn't helping me get things in order for when school starts next month. But then again, at least it's not Yanni.

yam

Twigeater, I found the directions to your house, but will need directions to the trailhead on Saturday. There is a chance I will be heading your way very early on Saturday morning instead of Friday afternoon. I'll let you know. If I head to your place on Saturday morning, I'll plan on getting there very early, right before you cook up my eggs, bacon and pancakes. ;-)
skiracer
9:30:59 AM
8/09/04

Haha! =D
My place is a supper and sleep, not a bed and breakfast, LOL!

I do need a firm count for Friday night - so far it looks like me, SB&MB, Bobo...maybe zac...

CraigM arrives Saturday morning at my house...

Artex, yam, Pennsy, will meet us at BSP Saturday...(time to be determined)

skiracer - unknown at this time...

pepsi - what are you doing?
twigeater
10:11:51 AM

hsy ski, glad to hear your big, not-so-mangy toe won't deter your trip!!

twiggy, you'll have to have bobo cook up the supper and breakfast for those hoping for meals, after all, the capn claims he's such a pro at cooking!

Twigeater, I got Friday off from work so I'll be at your place on Friday. I was discussing with Bobo about car-pooling for the rest of the trip. Is it possible to leave a vehicle at your place for the week?
lumberzac

One other thing we need to decide is what time to meet the Saturday BSP people. I'm not big on having to rush around Saturday morning.

A three hour drive with about an hour for breakfast...do we all want to meet at Dysart's?
old exit 44, new exit...180.
twigeater

yes, we can leave vehicles at my house.

SB is seeing if she can work late a night or two and get off early Friday so we can get there early.

At BSP, are we all meeting at Roaring brook or at Chimney Pond, or best yet all at Dysarts?
monkeyboy

I'm planning on getting there on Friday. Probably early enough to pick up a guide book and go shopping if the welcome Artex to Maine lobster fest is still on.

We can tell him about it on Saturday.
