“I'll be leaving on Friday; it's more of a question of what time on Friday. If I have to work I won't be getting into the Augusta area until around 12am. If I get Friday off I can get there sometime in the afternoon.”

“Just got back from southern Maine to take care of some odds and ends. We car camped, and if the bugs are anything like they were where we were, be prepared! Lots of skeeters. But, at least for me, Deep Woods Off, as nasty as that stuff is, does a great job.

Yam's flight arrives at 10:30pm in Portland. We'd arrive really late if we came up to Augusta, so it's up to Yam and Twigeater. Since Yam is a guest in the wonderful state of Maine, I'll leave it up to her and Twiggie what they ultimately think is best. I'm easy (like Sunday morning).”

“Skeeters don't scare me. It's the dear flies I don't like. DEET seems to have little or no effect on them. Ask Pennsy about my arms at the end of last year's SYAO trip.”

“Looks like we'll come up Friday night!!!! But it's what... about 3 hours for us, 2 1/2 maybe..... and we'll be home at 3:30, loaded by 4-4:30... let's see now... naught into naught is knot, naught divided by not is knot. Durned sixth grade edumacation!!!! Anyways, we should be there by 8 easy!!!

We'll review when you should have the lobstah ready with boiled butter for us!!!!!”

Seriously though, I didn't notice that they were that bad this past weekend in BSP. But I'm a sourpuss and bugs don't like me very much, plus they could bite me all night and I wouldn't notice until I passed out from the blood loss.

Not sure yet, but it would be nice to have alttle rest (and lohhbstah) at twiggy's before we move on.”

“Hey everyone, we are heading up from Rochester N.H. at about 3-4:30 PM Friday night... or so.... Anyone need a ride about that time to Twigeater'S house??? Airport pick ups, etc... We'll be driving a Ford Ranger extended cab. Plenty of room for gear. Rear seating leaves lots to be desired, but I'm sure another, more comfy seat is available at Twigeater's for the ride to BSP.”

“Thanks Pennsy. Does it take flash media cards? I have a spare battery and a 512MB card coming soon for my camera. I'll be shipping my camera out Monday. If I'm lucky maybe I'll get it back before I leave for Maine, but I doubt it. In the mean time I'm going to see if my 35mm that I dropped in the water back in April still works. I'll keep you posted.”

“lz, what kind of camera is it? I sent mine to Canon last month and got it back in 9 days.”

“I suggest you buy some acrylic paints and some canvases and just paint what you see instead. You know, to get in touch with your inner self.”
