“Hi stikmon! I'm still learnin' the ropes around here, but being the rookie that I am, I thought leggs was a complete hoax, a trouble-rousing troll. Of course I can't verify this any more than we could verify Saddam's WMD's, but it was a strong hunch.

That said, surely everyone around here is wise enough to know that if someone is trolling for responses, then people responding, even saying they SUCK, supports the trolls? I think trolls purposely say and do things so revolting to the average person that they are merely fishing for responses such as, "leave them alone", and "you suck!" as they gleefully read the responses.

Of course what you said above was completely honorable and I whole-heartedly agree. But my guess is that's exactly what leggs was trying to get you (us) to say.

My best guess, if folks here seriously want to deal with the issues of trolls, is to merely ignore them. Obviously they are saying troublesome and shocking things to get angry responses, and responding in any way, shape, or form is still a response and feeding the trolls. I'm guilty of feeding trolls through just being goofy and not taking them serious, but that still makes me just as guilty. But I suck.”
