Anybody out there in TT Land familiar with this bag? I'm thinking of getting one. At 32 oz. for a 63" girth bag with 16 oz. 800+ goose down it looks like a quality piece of gear. Weighs a full pound less than my Blue Kazoo.

I have a bit older model Moonstone with 800 fill down and Dryloft shell (somewhat heavier, whole bag is 2 lb, 6 oz)) made for 10-25*F use. I've used it to -25*F temps with extra clothing, and it works fine down to about zero sleeping in the usual long johns. I'm very pleased with it, and also with another Moonstone down bag I have. So although I can't claim experience with the Lucid, I'd expect a stellar performance from it.

Moonstone went belly up a couple of years ago. REI Outlet had a bunch of their stuff on closeout at great prices. I got a down liner that is of very nice construction from them.
I see from the new Moonstone website that the brand got bought by another outfit and they are back in business.
Don't know anything about the new bags but they look like good quality for what I read on the website.
Going ultralight FG? ;)
You have seen the light!

LOL @ Stove...

No, I'm not going ultralight but if I can shave a full pound off my 3-season bag...why the hell not. You have mail.

I have Moontone clothes and wouldn't trade them fer the world. I juts bought a Moonstone 30 degree bag off of ebay (if the moron would email me back) to use as a liner for FYAO.

I too saw those Moonstone bags at REI outlet. I was real short of cash and I was bummed that I couldn't pick one up.

I've had a 15 degree moonstone bag
for 9 yrs now. Down to zero it is
still a great bag!

If the temps don't fall to the
20's the bag gets too hot!

I usually just open mine up and use it like a quilt.

But I want to sleep like a log. I
don't want to wake up to make my
self more comfortable. Like Goldilocks said "This one is just right!"
