“My brother-in-law, not on this forum. He goes for the miles and misses a lot of the good stuff. Plus on one trip, I wasn't on he headed off ahead of his buddy, and they misunderstood which lake they were going to meet at--one was upper and the other lower, or something like that. They spent 3 days at their respective sites and, I understand, it was not a nice ride home.”

“I've only drank beer and ate munchies with TT'rs here in So Cal; Phil, Wingding, Snow Nymph, Aero (visiting from Montana witht e Montana State XC team), and WLD and his daughter. The hike in from the parking lot was a real challenge, but the effort was rewarded with hospitality of all those folks!”

technically, yes, it can. but not if the runner is down by contact. since the runner can get up and continue if he falls down by his own volition (usually on a wide-open but diving catch) or if he is knocked down by one of his own teammates, then it follows that if the ball comes loose when this happens, play continues and it is a live ball. this would probably never happen in open space, but although i cant recall ever seeing it happen, it has probably happened between the tackles. although, its usually the quarterback you see tripping over the centers feet, if anything, i suppose its highly within the realm of possibility that a runninb back could get tripped or knocked down by one of his own offensive linemen and then the ground could cause a fumble.”
