Combat Zone

“Oh no, I checked where I work tomorrow, it is the combat zone. We will be running medicals all night and Saturday will be a bust so I can sleep. There are some real foul dudes in the zone. No hikes this weekend. Dang”

“Maybe you would like to run for Santa? We have openings.”

“Firefighter. We have had two haz-mat calls already today. Things don't really heat up until the evening, about dinner time.”

“oops. I was a Santa already. I used to be the Santa on a Fire engine. My kids saw a picture of Santa in the paper and knew that it was me right off the bat. I quit the Santa thing until they are old enough to know better. Gotta go. It is haz-mat day and we are getting sent to our third haz-mat call. This never happens. Better take dinner with me. Whiiiiiiiiiiine!”
