Which was the greater crime of Michael Schiavo :-
- Pulling Terri's tube
- or putting his tube in some other woman ??

I know from your perspective both are Really bad but how do the 2 rate? which was worse.

From a Commandments perspective they are both in the top 10, numbers 6 and 7 to be exact, which implies that pulling the tube took precedence over putting in the tube, and neither being anywhere near as bad as polishing the BMW on the holy day which infringes on #1, #2, and #4 (Gods, Graven images, & Sabbath).

Word of Terri Schiavo's death has reached relatives and friends in suburban Philadelphia, where Terri grew up.

In Levittown, Bucks County, Karen Schiavo choked back tears as she described her reaction to the news of her sister-in-law's death:

"It is a relief but it's still hard. It's so hard. This poor girl was such a beautiful person."


Schiavo remains angry about what she calls the "circus" that has taken place around the hospice in Florida and the bitter fight that took place between her side of the family and Terri's parents.

She is also scared. Karen says people have been calling her home with death threats every day:

"We called the schools. They're watching my kids. I don't understand how these right-to-life people want to kill you. I mean, talk about hypocrites."

Karen Schiavo feels no sense of closure. She says this isn't going to be over for a long time.

Terri Schiavo grew up in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. She attended Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster.


KYW's David Madden reports that Karen Schiavo's husband Scott -- Michael Schiavo's brother -- got a phone call minutes after Terri’s death. He, too, is worried about what lies ahead:

"Terri is free. She’s got all of her dignity back. She’s in a better place, and she’s got nobody else prodding her and videotaping her and putting her all over the country."

He promises Terri privacy when her remains are returned to this area for burial, following an autopsy that will help to determine the extent of her brain damage.”

FYI, Sarge. I was critical of Jesse Jackson back in 1975 (date approximate) for referring to New York as Hymietown, an obviously inflammatory reference to our Jewish population. Haven't had reason to be too big of a fan of his since, either. So, what's that got to do with political ideology? Do ALL you conservatives think that those of us that you so kindly refer to liberals (as if we are second class citizens) are so shallow that just because he sides, generally, with the democratic party, that we are in awe of him or something like that. He's an opportunist, just like DeLay, Bush and Gephardt (just a few of the boneheads in Washington that I despise!). There! I broke party lines!
