As only a fringe participant of the Michigan gang (currently displaced to Wisconsin from my Water Wonderland home), I'd just suggest checking the trip page and watching the thread titles, though tarabull, birch & sass and others will be very helpful once they note your interest. And I'll vouch that they are a great bunch to hike and camp with.
