“My best friend has acid reflux. Doesn't sound like fun to live with.


I've been diagnosed with a heart murmur. I go for an echocardiogram next week. I know they're generally harmless, but I'm a bit freaked about about it right now.”

started with a stomach bug then onto the flu.
my body can not take any more.
but i am feeling much better, just in time to go to the daks snowtubing yeah!!”

“Ugh, my second day home from work. I gots the flu bad! Hven't had it like this in years. I puked every 30-45 minutes for 15 hours! Feeling better today, holding down some food and liquid, just feel weak and queezy still.”

“My daugther had it Saturday. If you've never had to see a 14-month old throw up for 5-6 hours straight I hope you never do! it is heartbreaking. She's all better now too.”

“My cold only lasted a week symptom wise, but apparently segued into laryngitis. My throat hurts so much I don't want to talk, and I've already got the humidifier running. It feels like my lower throat's been scoured with coarse steel wool. Note to self and others: Lemon juice is NOT a good additive to jasmine oolong tea. Bleah.”

It took almost 2 hours to get back to sleep. Then, just after I fell asleep and was dreaming again, the phone rang- the alarm system at my Dad's company went off, and they called ME to let me know I should go check on it. Excuse me? I haven't been an employee there for 3 years. Why the F--- am I the primary caller? I called my Dad and asked him that, right after I got off the phone with security. "Well," he says, "you live a mile away. I'm 3 miles away I thought it'd be easier if you go check on it." Well, that's the first time in years I shouted my dad down, at 6:15 in the morning no less. I'm a little more cheerful now. Hot hot earl grey tea with lots of lemon juice and a hot dog with lots of onions for breakfast. What a way to start the day!”

Treebait, tonight try a Highland sling. My cousin wants to be a bartender and made one for me last night. It'd be perfect for when you don't feel good/sore throat/and if you drink three for when you can't sleep, lol. It was primarily lemon juice, scotch and water with a touch of sugar or honey.

Oh yeah, I need to paint the front door, inside and out too. They want to bribe me to paint the entire outside. I may pass on that. That would be an awful lot of time up on a ladder.”
