“I still think my current problems are from stress. This past month has been a little difficult. If I can just get things a little more back to normal, I think I will be much better.”

“That is true enough SS, but getting checked out is still a good idea.

Some people keeled over from that same stress. It's real enough. But testing will show if the stress did any lasting damage or is just temporary.”

I hope there's no problem with your heart!”

“Well, the BP was better than the last time, 114/90, (was 130/100) but he still felt I needed the medicine. They took blood samples also this morning for a PSA and other tests.
Maybe I shouldn't have eaten all that bacon, grits, and eggs this weekend??? ;-)”

I found out last week that I broke my hand. Two months ago. Fell on my rollerblades the 1st weekend in August (with my wrist guards on, thank you very much) but since then if someone shakes my hand with a strong grip I cry. Turns out I fractured a bone in my hand. Its healing just fine, though, and the dr. didn't say much else about it other than the pain will diminish over time.

Now if I can just get rid of this crappy virus I've got, I'll be OK. Working on week two here....”

“Last week I went to the dr. to find out that I for sure broke my hand 2 months ago.

Today I went to the dr. to find out for sure that I'm sick. Dr. doesn't know what it is, but gave me antibiotics for it. Upper respiratory infection or bronchitis or whatever. She told me I couldn't go do my student teaching today or tomorrow, and I'm seriously bummed about that. Hopefully the antibiotics will clear it up fast and I'm feeling better next week.”

“I hope you feel better Smiley. We just had a run of the flu here, along with head colds. It seems like everyone is sick, or just got over the flu around this area.”

“Z-packs make my tummy hurt! At least today it did, with the double dose. Maybe tomorrow will be better!

Dr. said there is a ton of upper respiratory infection and bronchitis going around. This is my typical fall illness, I'm sure I'll be better soon. :)”

“Where I work there are two diffrent multi-drug resistant germs floating around infecting paitients. Everyone who has contracted them has died.”

“Went back to the Doc for a checkup this morning.

Drugs work, even with ALLSTATE driving me crazy. My blood pressure was 110/70 in one arm and 110/80 in the other with a Nurse taking the first and the Doc taking the second about 30 minutes later.

He also told me my heart looked fine from the ultrasound pictures. Big relief!
