“Guys, here’s a little tip. If ya are gonna be a punka$$ little #&%!$ and hit your woman, don’t do it in the middle of the street!

I walked out of work this morning and the couple a few doors down were out by their car and having what looked like an argument. It turned into the classic, “I’m leaving!”, “No you’re not!” type of deal. That’s when the guy shoves her and slapped her up side the head and then missed with a few follow ups. They both looked over at me and my jaw was on the ground. I got in my Jeep planning to call 911 on my cell but a few blocks away I realized I didn’t know the address so I went back to work and called from there. Because they live two doors away I told the operator I didn’t want my name on the report.

So I get home and I’m on the puter and my cell phone rings. I glance at the number and looks like Birch’s number. So answer the phone in natural fashion…”Long Dlck’s Whorehouse. Long Dlck speaking.”. It was the phucking police department wanting me to come down and make out a statement! “Sorry about that! LOL! I made out a statement and they asked if I’d be willing to testify and said “Of course.”. And of course when they got out there the couple acted oblivious. Turns out the guy had been busted before on a domestic.

Ya just don’t beat women in the street like a dog.”

“Nigal, you are much nicer than I. I would have pounded that wuss to a pulp, and then turned myself in to police.”

Funny this thread came up.....I was going to post something similar....


I was at work yesterday. It was 1/2 hour before showtime. I make my rounds and come into my office and sit down fer second to prep for my quick pre show meeting. The phone rings and I see on the ID that it from my house. I answer and on the other line is my wife, crying and in pain, telling me that she took a "header" down the basement stairs. I run outta the theater and speed home. I get home (7 minutes away from work), she's a mess, police, firemen, friends and family are everywhere. She's OK enough for me to take her to the Hospital myself, which I do. We get there, they look her over. Her face is bad, the rest of her has multiple bumps and bruses. After awhile, the Doc comes back in and asks me to leave fer a second. I step out, but there's only a curtain between them and me. He sez "the other Doctor and I want to let you know that if you need any help, you can let us know. If he did this to you, there's help we can provide". By this time, you coulda knocked me over witha feather. My wife sez "Oh no, really! He didn't do this. He wasn't even home". The he sez "Look, really it's OK. You can trust us. You can tell us and we can help you." At this point, I'm getting a little pissed. hey go backand forth about it and he finally leaves. I walk back in to the area and I say "I can't believe that." I shake outta it, nderstand that they are only doing there job and relize that I'm paying for all the other #&%!$s out there that do this type of work.

I cannot even imagine, what type of coward would beat there wife. I'm all fer equal rights and all, but that's where I draw the line. It would take a small army to hold me back if I saw someone do that. And the bad thing is that it's not even my business.

Yep, I can see where they were coming from. I was in my "Theater Attire" (read: dressed in all black, shaved head and had my "bad ass" sunglasses on top of my head) and it does look like I went upside her head with a baseball bat, a few times.

I don't know how she'll feel about posting the pics here, but if she's doesn't agree, she'll go along with it IF SHE KNOW'S WHAT GOOD FOR HER!!!! j/k”

Laqtis - had a similar incident with my wife - she had a nasty incident involving a box spring, a cat, and a resulting black eye and came home with a load of leaflets on deomestic violence - luckily I was out the country at the time.”

“I knew better than to get involved at the time of the scuffle because they broke it up when they saw me. Never enter into an emotional charge situation. I used to volunteer with the police department on the auxiliary (kind of an unarmed wingman that rides along). I’ve been on enough of these calls to know how to handle them (by letting the po po do it). My brother had the same thing happen in a parking lot. He went over and busted the punk in the eye and then had the girlfriend on his back hitting HIM! I mind my own business but when you bring your business out in the street it becomes mine too.

I was a bit shocked at first and was going through the “What do I do?”, process when I settled down in a second I said, “Ya just don’t hit women!” and I called. To not have called would have made me just as much a punk a$$ bltch as the guy was. There simply wasn’t a choice in weather to call or not.”

My wife had a similar experience last year. She was giving my son (4 years old at the time) a hug, and he headbutted her right in the eye. Of course, she got a big shiner. In retrospect, we're lucky she wasn't wearing her glasses at the time. People at school kept stopping her and saying if she needed any help, they could count on her.

I'm glad people care about my wife, but it's infuriating to me for them to believe I'm the kind of scum who beats up women.
