Do it mike...
comon on out and paddle...I'll meet you and Dave at Whites Creek CG. As long as it isn't rainin, I'll be there and that is barring any Khatru incidents on Friday night. I'm probably gonna drive on up on Sat morn, in the daylight, so that I can avoid any stupid deer.

Hope ya can make it...I'll be communicating with Dave on thurs night.

Decisions, decisions.

Rats!
Bummer, my calendar is already filled up for this weekend.

Too bad because the skirt for my kayak came in this week.

chance of wetness...
I should consult with Mapleleaf and see how she resolved this delima. Heck...unless its a torrential downpour on Sat am, I'm going. I'm a freakin backpacker...rain, snow, wind, sleet, darkness and gloom of night, bobcats...shall not keep this dark night from making his appointed rounds to the woods...there are elf maidens to swoon.

EGGNOG!!!!!

well...
this trip is ON!!!. Only one change...I'm gonna drive out friday night and be at the trailhead before the big storm is to hit, this way, I'm already there. Then hike in the 7.1 miles and meet dave on the river. (he's floatin down).

This will be a blast, as I expect to be the ONLY representative of the human race in the entire wilderness this weekend. The snow will make it even more magical. I'm gonna wish I had snowshoes, but 5-8 inches is not hard to push through, gonna be sweet...

Chili...you better be a MAN and show up.

Backpacking in the weather isn't the problem.

It's driving up on those goat paths that concerns me.
