Nigal, as I read the thread, I had the same thought.

Sass and Tara, as soon as my wife is back from a biz trip in a couple of days, I'll bring up the idea if you want. Team Tit-4-Tat has a ring to it. Keep me abreast of your plans.

Pekka - I already figgered I'd be wearing my "Nice T!ts" tank for at least one of the days!

Many survivors do end up getting implants... think they'd be offended?

tarabull, sometimes there is some concern, though what can be made clear to breast cancer survivors is that their situation is much different than a woman who is getting implants strictly for cosmetic reasons. However, the health issues on reconstruction are the same, and the connection of breasts to self image/worth is a crucial hurdle for breast cancer survivors. My wife has had very positive responses from survivors who have actually had to fight criticism for NOT getting implants or who have had horrible post-cancer experiences with implant reconstruction. A double-mastectomy survior who is a serious breast cancer activist and did not have reconstruction got one of the Nice Tits tanks to wear to the national convention of survivors. It's all about the attitude one carries with the message, I guess.

And thanks to you and Sass for your continued efforts. My mom's a survivor, so it means a lot.

BTW, tara, some very positive responses from women radiographers who say that implants seriously interfere with their efforts to get good mammograms -- so the No Silicone, No Saline, No Sir! message is very appropriate to send to women who want to make sure they have every chance of spotting a cancer at the very earliest stages possible.

"Dress up like rednecks and call yourself "Momma an' 'em"

This made me think of Creek Jumper. She was always askin' everyone she met, "Hi Sugar! How's yer mama?" in that sweet drawl only she could do. LOL!

You guys have some hilarious ideas...

I would imagine that there will be breast cancer survivors participating who will have had a masectomy. I would reckon that names about breats could be a touchy subject for woman who dont have em,or for their kin who walk in their remembrance. They may not see or appreciatte the humor.

I gotta agree about the Michigan Mountaineers thing. Get all dressed up in the full mountaineering outfit (between all of ya you could throw together a nice outfit) complete with rope and bieners, goggles and crampons. OK, parkas and chit might be a bit hot in August but you could still go with a climbing theme. Hand out Powerbars and Gatorade or something outdoorsy.

Make a big sign that says, "Michigan Mountaineers...Concurring the mountain of cancer one step at a time!", or something like that.

Melonias Thunk, bow down to the creative one. That one took me a second to figure out. Jazz fan are you?

I like "Quite a Pair" as well.

Michigan Mountaineers reminds me of a Beavis and Butthead episode. One of the guys goes to get a haircut. The lady cutting his hair is wearing a very low cut top. At the end of the epidose the boys are walking down the road into the sunset when you hear one of them say, "Ahhh Grasshopper, I have seen the top of the mountain and it is great" Or something to that effect.

OK, tying in mountains, how about "The Grand Tetons?"

This sounds like the RAGBRAI bike ride. People have teams, dress up, go crazy. I think on my one-day ride with them one year I was "Boned" by Team Bone. They rode up to me on their bikes and someone planted

a sticker (LOL) on my bike helmet... which I left on there forever.

There were teams that had booze as a theme and pulled along a pretty good bar behind the bike in a BOB trailer.

Here's a site with some of their team names:

We might go w/ Michigan Mountaineers... But we also discussed the Tree Huggin' Dirt Worshippers (I have that bumper sticker given to me by le Subtil that I could put on the truck).

Either way - it'll likely focus on an outdoors type theme since that's so us.

Something is lacking,I'm not attracting
My boobs are as big as I want them to be
I want 36D

I'M not receiving enough affection
Gonna get me a silicon injection
And fulfill my dreams, bust outtta my seams

My social is pathetic,I cant find a man
What I need is cosmetic surgery
Be the best I can be

Proteins and milkshakes and vitamin consumption
Who needs a diet when liposuction is painless and quick, local anesthetic

Now my boob area model of flawless perfection
I will most certainly cause an erection
wherever I go,but I still dont know

the reason why I cant find a mate
the men i meet ejaculate and leave through the door
I cant take anymore.
