Are these guys for real?
What a joke this article is. It takes the mood of a very few Americans and paints the whole country as "sensitive to Canadian patriotism", as if we're jealous of friggin' Canadians of all people. Puh-lease.

I'm not biting - especially at anything from CanWest (don't get me going - about CanWest, that is).

What is wrong with canadians? I like the Maple Leaf flag. Way better than the stupid striped one that we have. I think we should change the Constitution so that we can have a better looking flag. It should be green and blue with an animal on it.

I dont have a problem with CANADIENS in general. I have Canadien friends. Hell, Rush is one of my all time favorite bands. It's the tone of this article that irritates me.

Ow! I just pulled 3 nose hairs out at once.

Anyway, contrary to what this BS article would have the reader believe tons of Americans are proud as hell and feel no such "sensitivity" to the implied superiority of Canada. Dare I say many Americans lean more in the direction of contemptuous than jealousy.

canadians are polite about their patriotism...they express it through flag patches on their luggage!Big deal.Americans holler ad nauseaum about the USA being the best country on earth,#1 etc...its almost a phrase worth copyrighting cuz everybody outside the USA knows the nationality of the person who boasts this phrase.
I love that joke...
'being attached to America is like "being in a pen with a wounded bull," joking that between gay marriage and pot smoking, "it's a wonder there is not a giant deck of cards out there with all our faces on it."
Those cards were the most ignorant and infantile concept. The joke's on us if we can get it yet.
