Agreed Marko. I am extremely skeptical at this point. I will wait to cast judegment when the CID is done. I dont beleive much I see reported.

Case in point.

Sept 2003, Fallujah. Allegations of soldiers from the 82nd abn div killing "Iraqi policeman". My best friend was at the road block that was charged by a white toyota pickup with 5 Iraqis on board. The iraqis open fired killing the NCO next to PJ. His troops returned fire killing all of em. They werent cops they were bad guys pure and simple. I think that in many cases reporters are hungry for a story.

As I said I am skeptical.

“Skepticism is a good thing within reason. I get irritated when people equate overt and extreme skepticism (especially when mixed with an unhealthy dose of negativity) with intelligence. They refuse to believe anything but the worst and feel if you aren’t as skeptical as they are you’re just plain dumb. The funny thing is when they don’t believe anything they think they are smart but when you don’t believe THEM you’re considered a dumbass.

It’s a superiority complex of the highest order. This is what leads people to over-rely on the very governmental machine they are skeptical about in the first place. They see the average American as incapable of the very freedoms guaranteed to us. They think we are too dumb to take care of ourselves. And in cases like this they think we are too dumb to discern the truth of a matter for our selves.

The saddest part is that we are only getting one side of this story and what that side is calling truth will be repeated so many times and so loudly that even if the opposite becomes true it won’t matter. These marines will be vilified no matter what. Way to support the troops!”

"It's a song that I made up and it was nothing more than something supposed to be funny, based off a catchy line of a movie," Cpl. Joshua Belile said in Wednesday's Daily News of Jacksonville.

In a four-minute video called "Hadji Girl," a singer who appears to be a Marine tells a cheering audience about gunning down members of an Iraqi woman's family after they confront him with automatic weapons.

Belile, 23, apologized and said the song was not tied in any way to allegations that Marines killed as many as two dozen unarmed civilians in Haditha last year.
