i came up with the brilliant idea to get my mom a chainsaw carving for christmas. does anyone know a website i could find a large bunny on? im having a hard time with anything but bears.
i may just have to take a drive down to the smokies if i can't come up with anything from home. gee, that would suck:)

There's a place on 321 paralelling GSMNP that sells those. They had at least one rabbit carving last time I drove by in mid november.

On the same note, my parents have a chainsaw carving of santa thats pretty cool. Weighs a ton though, and I'm usually the one stuck moving him around! It's about 3.5 feet tall.

If you're going to carve up some animals with a chainsaw, you probably ought to freeze them first.

i went into that place with brandon over labor day. he was talking with the guy about getting a sign for the store. i guess he decided to go another route though.

I agree with Tilt, and I'm sure he'd agree with me when I say a chainsaw seems a bit overkill for the smaller animals such as said rabbit. I was thinking more along the lines of an electric carving knife such as those used on roast beef.

Don't you live near Cincinatti? Last time I went to the zoo in Cincy there was a guy who made a wide variety of animal carvings with a chainsaw doing a demonstration and display near the gift shop. Maybe you could contact the zoo for a lead? It was part of a fundraiser for the zoo so surely they would have a name and contact info on him.

Chainsaw animals !!

heard a joke about how to make a cat sound like a dog, and a dog sound like a cat.

Dowse the cat in gas, toss a match
"Woof".

Freeze the dog, get the chainsaw
"Meeeeooow"

Maybe this would work on Cool Breeze's penile substitute, you know ? that mutt that has been trained to attack other dogs on the trail.

gardensculptureart.com for chainsaw carvings
Hi everyone I am new to this forum. The best place to find Cedar carved chainsaw carvings is at gardensculptureart.com the cedar logs they use will last 100 years so your carvings will have to be willed to the next generation.

This is so freakin funny, but there is an ad on the side of the page for a chainsaw carving school. These ads don't always stay there, but take my word for it, it was there.

Gee, what is my life missing? I know, it's chainsaw art! I think I have more chainsaw art in my state than I have people, lol.
