Fox News To Run Non-Stop Coverage Of Saddam Surrender For Next 11 Months

Citing the public's right to know every single microscopic detail of Saddam Hussein's surrender to US troops, Fox News has decided to drop all other programming and stick with the story 24 hours a day, seven days a week until the first Tuesday in November 2004.

“Can we help it if the story should run its course precisely on the day Americans choose who will lead the country for another four years?” asked Roger Ailes, chairman of Fox News.

According to Fox, viewers will get a chance to see Saddam giving a DNA sample 2,143,192 times, Paul Bremer announcing “We Got Him” 4,158,624 times and jubilant Iraqis parading in the streets of Bagdad 5,209,081 times between now and November 2, 2004.

The network vowed to stay with its decision to cover Saddam's capture no matter what -- or at least until further developments appeared in either the Kobe Bryant and Michael Jackson cases.

This is not true. When David Kaye's report on the WMD's is released the coverage will shift.
