Vt. Long Trail record/Cavedog

“I just noticed that cavedog tried to beat the record for Vermont's Long trail and barely missed it. Looking at when he did it, he had some really lousy luck - I was out on the NH AT at the time and the rain was torrential for the early part of his trip.

He offers what looks like a fairly honest and forthright account. My respect for the guy grows over time:
