And that pissed off the black rifle guys even more. He offered a lame excuse and tried to pass it off as an apology.

That's the kind of attitude that has split the gun community. On one side you have the "Fudds" who don't see black rifles as "legitimate" hunting tools, another side that says "yes they sure as hell are", and another side that says "you're missing the point, it's about our 2nd amendment rights".

Now Zumbo's terrorist comment has been picked up by anti-gunners like the Brady Bunch (they put it on their myspace blog), and is being used as proof that hunters agree the 2nd is mostly about hunting.
