My mom had dozens and dozens of large birds when I lived at home, she even had a Toucan.”

“WW, that's awesome! i'm totally a bird freak. i used to train/raise/breed them for a few years. i also had a greenwing macaw that i rescued. he's now living in tennessee with a loving family. i'd like to start breeding conures again and placing them, but it's expensive, so it'll have to wait a while.”

“haha.. i remember when i was about 6 years old during every hour on the hour from 2AM and on, i'd go into my parents room with a flashlight and shine it in my mom's eyes and ask "is it time to open presents????" hoping she'd say "yea, let's go!" one of those times.
