Divinity, upon coming on that view from a steady ascent, I laughed and my breath grew short. Goosebumps. It felt like I could do anything when I saw that.

Stony Ridge

While puting together this installment, it was great to relive the experience. A glass of Blackstone red wine and a small bowl of cashews makes you think through the experience with more depth. Even though it was cold out there, assembling the report brought warmth.

And the fire inside helped!

Are the pine trees in that area affected by the Bark Beetle? I see some dying trees in a couple of the pictures.”

The Bark Beetle hasn't been a problem from what I've seen so far. Not having hardly any experience in the Gorgonio wilderness, it's tough to know what to look for.”
