“No, but I've gotten to within a few feet of some very large ones. A few friends and I are planning a trip down the northern part of the Hillsborough River soon. The warmer weather is bringing them out on the banks and logs to get some sun, so it's a fun time to go. Just have to be careful, it's mating season, so they're supposedly a tad more aggressive, but I've never had any problems.”
