OK, so it's on the "other side." But it's pretty darn funny!!

Just what the world needs: more skunks!

I've been passing a dead one on the side of the road every day now for about two-three weeks. It's on the main north-south artery here, but it's off to the left side, right next to a concrete divider. I guess the cold is keeping it from rotting faster, although I did notice some ballooning today.

I wish I had a digital camera, I'd take pictures.

That is why they invented digital cameras: to take pictures of dead skunks.

Time for a reprise of the Loudoun Wainright III song:

Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Stinkin' to high, high heaven

Well, no, digital cameras were invented to take pictures of naked women.

But being able to take pictures of dead skunks is just a happy side-effect.

I thought about getting a skunk before I wound up with the weasel. Can you imagine seeing a trained skunk on the trail?

OK, **WHO** looked at the link?? A skunk was in the bottom of an 80 ft. slot canyon in Zion for over a month. It became a legend! People didn't know how it survived. Finally, some guys felt bad and rescued it.

i think skunks a cute. wouldn't mind to have one as a pet if the smell thingy is taken out. almost run over one while driving to walpack. so cute how it "run" away...

wouldn't have been cute if I would have acutually hit it. ahhhh!! smelly car all the way from NJ to SC. Glad I missed it.

Thingy's are relative
The smell thingy is nowhere near as pleasant to behold as the pink thingy.

My second wife was a dog. Does that count?
