manuscript is done!

“after a year and a half of writing, hiking, backpacking, camping, researching, and driving all over PA, the manuscript for "Backpacking Pennsylvania" is now done. it covers all of the state's backpacking trails. what a relief, off to the publisher it goes! thanks to everyone who has backpacked with me.”

“the book offers descriptive overviews for all of PA's 40+ backpacking trails. the focus, of course, is on backpacking, not dayhiking. this is a surprisingly untapped market. there is info on directions, highlights, terrain, water availability, contact info, etc.

PA has the most backpacking trails of any state east of the Rockies.”
