He cooking can sometimes get a little fru-fru, but it sure tastes good!”

She likes to car camp so I wil ask her tonight. I am sure we will come if there is nothing on our calendar. How will the cook off work? We make dinner one night and you try to beat us (which you won't) the next?”

That was about as organized as the rabid fans at a European soccer game would be. We all prepare our stuff at the same time. This is critical because Geobeet will never let me hear the end of it. We then cook and prepare a giant plate of all the samplings for some famished, impartial judge (Geo says I paid the last one) and watch him eat and pretend this is some Zagat's rating system...”

“If we can make it, how should the challange happen. Should we both make one meal and have them each rated? Her desserts are legendary!”

“This is so intriguing. I have the week off before the weekend this is held, so I think I will be working my way up the east coast leisurely like, and afterwards leaving Sunday and heading south like a NJ Devil since I have to be back to work Tuesday.”

“Good gosh, who would have thought that a car camping trip, in New York no less, would turn into a TT Ithacaloosa! When is this trip? We would like to join but we have an incredibly full calendar this year.”

“Oh Lyndy! This is going to be one for the books. I can feel it. Ithaca is such a beautiful area and (in my experience here) has not been used as a TT hiking spot. The fact that it is car camping is only because of the nature of the setup up there. The ranger I spoke to said we can't just pitch where we like, so we will use the designated sites as a homebase. The day hikes are going to be phenomenal. The waterfalls and gorges are breathtaking. Plus, the idea of a cook off and a large get together (a la Maryland sans rain) makes for a fun extended weekend. Please try and fit this into your schedule. We would love to have you...”
